hi, ive just been looking at the said bike & i'm quite interested in the concept of a 29" MTB wheel.

i'm just after some thoughts really as to how they would perform.

i was also trying to compare the size against my 26" MTB wheel & my road bike wheel to try to get some idea on the size, with not much luck!....any thoughts?

My guess would be it is roughly 3" bigger in diameter than a 26" wheel or 29" in overall diameter

I have a gf superfly ( and lynskey 29 er), fantastic bike. Both roll much better than 26" wheeled bikes. If you are wanting to start with a 29er you should maybe set your sights a little lower ( cheaper ) and try a used gf rig or one of the on ones
