Hi all,

I'm just finishing off my SS commuter build - only the brakes to bleed. Except...

The caliper when mounted to the frame at the rear does not align with the disc. Not out by 0.5mm, but maybe 5mm! The mounting's IS and of course I'm putting it on the right side of the frame. Should there be shims?

The hub is a Pro2, frame is a Kinesis Virsa Prestige.

Any thoughts y'all?

Maybe.  Post a pic if you can.

Will do when I can - the bike's in London and I'm in Derbyshire.

Just imagine a five mil gap between mount and caliper!

Cheers!
