Hi I'm struggling to fit a pair of specialized womans grips to my wifes bike.

I've got one on through sheer grunt and effort and now have a right forearm like Popeye!

Before I strain a tendon with more twisting and blashpemy on the second grip does anybody have any top tips?

Spray the inside with hairspray they will slide on very easily and stick when set.

I'm assuming the grips aren't lock-ons? In which case, what XC said.

Nope they were these.  What would use for lock-ons (I assume you don't want the stickiness from hairspray)?

LM they usualy go straight on a bit of WD 40 helps if they are tight.

If you ever want to take off your grips, an old spoke or thin screwdriver pushed inside and a spray in with WD40 will get them off.

Just don't try it if you're using carbon bars. Spray lubes can sometimes have a nasty affect on carbon bars.

Guys - I have the opposite problem: how do i make sex with my wife last 20 minutes rather than 20 seconds? Would hairspray help?

WD40 is fine for taking grips off but I wouldn't fancy using a pair of grips that are held on by it!

WD40 doesn't hold it on, it just makes it slippery enough to fit. Once evaporated the grips tend to stay put, or they do in my experience anyway.
