A sensitive Troll, surely an oxymoron ... or a sorry reflection of the times we live in.

I got PMed too Serge. He accused me of being a moderator or something very nice.

It's just his latin/Yorkshire temperament. The man can play though but....

Awesome.

Aye, he's not bad. Nice Rasgueado technique and a deft touch.

Didn't hear any tremelo on his youtube vids though, so he's marked down a bit in my books.

This is what I'm referring to - learned the piece in question myself and took me 2 years to get close to playing it half decently, before someone jumps in.

This is my ultimate aim ,  the reason for the almost vertical guitar incidentally is the incredibly complicated and hand stretching tremelo around the body. Not easy at all.

I have no idea what you're talking about it, so I'll take your word for it. Although anyone who wears a cycling jersey and plays like that is cool imo.

I do speak from experience though DK, and am not slagging him off at all just giving my own constructive criticism. The stuff I used to play tended more to 'straight' Spanish rather than the more dance orientated Flamenco but a player needs to have some tremelo pieces in his repertoire.

The rasgueado is the Flamenco strumming technique which he does very well. Anyway he's inspired me to pick up mine again right now, so it's a good thing. If you know him, tell him to get back here and stop being such a sensitive soul.

Just listening to your links, beautiful stuff. Mrs DK would like to learn all that when she finishes her degree and has the time, can't wait.

Recommend me some good listening Gav, more of the same..........?

Have a search for anything by Agustin Barrios Mangore or just Mangore. One of my favourite composers for the guitar.

This is my favourite piece - Recuerdos de la Alhambra (few versions on youtube as it's a sort of tremelo signature piece), first major thing I 'mastered'. I use this term loosely.

Asturias(Leyenda) - Isaac Albeniz played by John Williams - nice version. Lot of metallers learn this for obvious reasons.

Will post some more when the names come back, been a bit slack on the 6 string of late.

I'm not sure that he's that sensitive tbh, he's probably just having a laugh.

I've only met him a couple of times and he doesn't seem one to get upset by some random dude on the internet.
