If your building up your so called dream machine, and money becomes tight do you build it up with lower quality parts or hang fire and furnish it in the best money can buy?
Just put a new black Hope headset on so thats staying, new stem needed as its a Spesh adjustable [+8 / -8 +16 / -16] at 80mm and its a bit short for me.

Seat post is long and it can still come up a bit, for some reason spesh have made a short seat tube just look how much lower it is than the head tube.
Hello all, i like the thread, makes the week go quicker leading to weekends of possible riding.
Personally, i would love something like an ibis mojo SL with unusual customisation so it could manage a lefty fork (which would have proper internals) and something like an industry nine or Tune wheelset. Combination Stem/bar like the THE all in one carbon fibre that would need customisation to fit the lefty (i'm going fot the integrated system approach if you can't tell!) Crankset and bb would possibly be a one-off by TUNE, brakes could be 185mm rotors - prob the Formula The One brakes as i've heard lots of good things about them. Get Sram to make up some cutting edge black box gear system and pick a few titanium bits - King headset, USE post, etc and you might just have my dream bike (at the moment - weird how once you've got the bike you 'thought' was your dream, you find something else)
