Nay they're brilliant in my eyes...but then again I fit SFN with a piece of tube and a hammer so my results are often less than square...the HD just took away any of those problems in one fell swoop.

Sure the Head Doctor you've removed is at it's smallest,  strip it back to it's bits and reassemble it,  I've used them for 36's to setup and had Van's with them in so strange.

It's fiddly,  but if you change forks alot like I was,  them it beats fiddling with SFN's so I'll be keeping mine.

Yeah stripped the centre out and tried to squish it in with the gubbins first to no avail

I think Rigid when the Lockout is on,  doesn't really count!!

Check for a lip and run some sand paper around it,  if not they must of beefed up the steerer tube!!

Mmm. just looked at a top cap against the uncut end of a Rev's steerer & an F100's - the cap sits flush on the Rev one as the 'proud' bit of the cap fits inside but not on the F100.

Haven't got a scientific way of measuring them but the Fox steerer clearly has thicker walls than the RS one.

Abit of sand paper,  some sore fingers and a few hours of time you'll soon reduce the top part by the 0.2mm's so it'll fit!!

Won't take that long if it's Alu Steerer!!
