Thinking about buying a frame with a very elaborate finish. What's the best way to protect it other than hanging it from a wall and never riding it?

Nother bote for chopper tape.  Although I chainsucked my new frame first ride out.  I was slightly annoyed

clear fablon (got mine off ebay) as a cheap alternative to copter tape. not as indestructable but has a bonus of not being frustratingly expensive if you drop it on the floor prior to applying

single layered on non vulnerable areas, double layered where needed. it's worked good for me the last 18 months, especially on the crank arms. oh, and yea, you will need a chainstay protector whatever you choose.

Oooh yeah, a woodland camo would be sweet....and maybe a winter camo for that one day when it snows* (*may actually never happen)
