Have decided to get some lights and not go ghetto, instead splash on a good pair. Which would be better (for off road use)?

Joystick is lighter and a bit cheaper (on CRC with either head/bar bracket) and no cables, but Hope seem to be more 'powerful' 480 lumens v joystick 240 and has both brackets.

Any one used any and have any recommendations?

I use the older Hope 2's & they're better than a mates Joystick Maxx from a lighting point of view. Yes there are cables & stuff but that allows you to run different batteries or change them without hassle. The new ones are even better so I know where my money would go.

I reckon an ideal set up would be the Hopes on your bars & a helmet mounted Joystick...
