my xc-300 rear hub is shot. there is a lot of play and it makes a horrible grinding noise on when its freewheeling. i have tried to dismantle it but when i got to trying to remove the freehub it looks like it requires a special tool which i cannot find any mention of anywhere. anybody changed the bearings on these hubs and if so what is the procedure and where did you get the tool. it looks like it should be a similar tool to the freewheel one but round with 2 lugs at 180 degrees.
