Cervelo S1 with 6700 groupset and 7850 carbon laminate wheels.  This should leave you £30 to be able to stick a set of the new Crud road guards on for those Sunday club runs.

Only the carbon laminate wheels? Sod that! Lightweights all the way.

If I had £2500 for a road bike i'd be looking at a Trek Madone or a Pinarello FP3.

i like the look of the pinerello fp3

a little different from the others, and thats good. but comes with ultegra sl and made in china again.

can you buy a bike these days which are not made in china?

shouldent an italian bike come with campaq? and not shimano.

Look still make the carbon bits in France but they are assembled in North Africa. Time bikes were still being made in France the last time I checked.
