Anyone used the Endura Convert. Its a lot cheaper than some and looks pretty good.

Is it waterproof as they say?

Any first hand experience?

Yeah theyre brill

They are very well made. - & its a VERY clever design, - evrything works well. Theyre a good price , and I cant REALLY fault mine.

Trouble is I ve hardly ever used it with the arms and shoulders atatched I always stop once I,m warmed up and stick them in my camel or the big map pocket on the back- maybee its just me I get really hot quickly. So unless your out in the baltic pissing rain in sub zero temps you tend to use it as a mesh shouldered gillet most of the time.

The only thing I can fault it on is the welds inside the funnelneck are a bit uncomfy on  your neck  when youve got it zipped right up, Its O/K if youve got polo on tho.

Just a quick look at CRC website shows theres LOADS of winter jackets to choose from and Ive only ever tried this one - but that said I,m not looking for replacement . 8 out of ten -

P.S. As far as the waterproof ness is concerned - its great , but remember the vent across the shoulders is secured by poppers everywere else is welded zips.
