A car came out of a side road right infront of this guy on his bike.

Cyclist shouts verbals and gives the finger.  It was a slow quew of traffic and car driver starts shouting back (no idea why, he was in the wrong.)

Anyway, the cyclist receives serious respect for his next move.

Opens the rear passenger door of the car and cycles off down a side street.

 Apparently it is the word for someone who is half Quaker and half Jew.

The driver then has to get out of the car to close the door,and in doing so fails  to switch off the engine,local scally jumps into drivers seat and drives off with car,police chase ensues,and car written off/damaged,scally gets suspended sentance and compensation because he had no toys at christmas,and always wanted to have a toy car,gets compensation because car driver had a slightly dodgy tyre,which caused the inexperienced scally to loose control,while being persued by police.

Car owner gets points on his licence,for have ing a defective tyre,his insurance goes up,looses job,because hes now got to many points for his companies insurance to drive company vehicles,and a long and dragged out thread on Singletrack,about the cyclist,the car owner,and the scally.

Oh and i didnt mention the dog that was on the  back seat, about to be taken for a walk on a local bike trail to have a shit.

Life is so unfair.

Flip side of the coin is that it may have been the umpteenth cyclist he'd nearly ran over that day because many don't bother with lights or expect a motorist to spot a ten year old led on the front with a depleted battery.....well maybe not in this case but as a responsible (I'd like to think) cyclist, morons with inadequate lighting are my pet hate. I cross the roundabout from A50 to A6 above J24 of the M1 every morning & there's a two cyclists I see that are asking to become not just another statistic but also on someones conscience for the rest of their life
