 I can honestly say I've never drunk a bad beer where you live MSP. I seem to remember the beer in the Three Tuns in Bishop's Castle was good to drink, what I definitely remeber is the effect on my intestines, something you don't have to worry about with German beer.

 I'll tell you where you won't find a decent pint......Afan!  Worthington Keg gas crap............although still managed to down half a dozen pints before my bottle of red!  Too many good ones to mention but Hogs Back Brewery Traditional English Ale (Tea) is one of my local faves!

 I like too many to list but on a tour of the brewery last week a member of the Neame family pulled me a pint of THIS. Apparently we were the first people to have drunk this ale for over 100 years - it was worth the wait
