Being pretty new to this game, I hadn't ridden Dalbeattie before it was upgraded, but it is pure class. It is really rocky and fast and a good length at over 18 miles(I clocked it at 21.5 but that was me getting lost!!).The only upgrading that I can see at Mabie is that after the initial fireroad then singletrack climb, there is a really good dh singletrack which will be really good once the track has bedded in(brilliant big stone berms). They will both be a credit to the Forestry Commission once completed.

I am lucky that both are my local trails. Dalbeattie is due to be signed this week and officially opened this friday. Get on down and ride the rock.
