Haven't killed a wheel yet roger, it's only a wheel they've been around for 100's if not 1000's of years, not exactly cutting edge rocket science.

No it's not,but if the build quality is shoddy in the first place you cannot guarantee against a spoke/rim failure.

well if your happy having to retension all the time ....

ill stick to building them and then riding them untill i sell or replace them for the sake of it

I don't do it ALL the time, I lost the spoke key for 3 - 4 months, the last time was cause the dish was out slightly and the tyre was hitting the new forks, that was Feb time.


I'll likely double check there all tight, later though, 2 rides in and all, then hopefully be fine for 6months.

Next time you need new wheels,try LBS out.

Yes you'll have to pay slightly more,but if you find you need to retension you can always take it back and get it done.

Busy Saturday mornings are good if you want it done for free.

I to use the it's busy, show off how good your service is routine.

Prefer to do my own thanks, try to use LBS's for repair work as little as possible, actually Never !!
