I have not heard of any problems running Hope discs with Shimano calipers. I know people have been running the Hope floating rotors with Shimano brakes.
Hi Chap. Just wondering how you got on with the rotor set up? I'm looking to do the same, XT calipers and ultra sexy Hope rotors. Any problems? Cheers.
Actually i just got some discs with the XTR caliper/XT lever combo merlin were doing very cheap, but have had a look and they all seem about the same, not enough to cause a problem anyway.
Yeah, they are compatible. And the rotors are proper bike porn at it's dirtiest! Not getting as much stopping power as i would like tho, might be the pads. Maybe try fibrax? Will update with the best combo later. Chow.
