It's good news and a reminder to governments all over the world that fuel is not a finite resource and they need to pull their finger out ..... that includes the real promotion of cycling and a prioritisation of cycling facilities and infrastructure.
Plus and more importantly I can take the piss out of the fat 'cagers' at work on Monday .
I'll just point out that I meant to say it is a finite resource .

MWAAAHHHAAAAA , thats reverse logic, I totally realise I will be hit in the pocket as much as everyone ... but its the fact that I'm not selfish and put the environment first before my own personal greed to get everything as cheap as possible.
I do drive ( though as little as I can get away with ) and my only reservation is that the poor will be hit hardest as usual.
Lets face it ... as a society we are lazy , fat , overeating , couldn't give a f*** about anything except ourselves race ..... anything that stops us ( or at least makes us think twice ) driving 500yds down the road , or stops us buying millions of pounds of food each year that only gets thrown away can only be a good thing .
What we (public, newspapers, govt) seem to miss though is that whatever changes we as a nation make, they will have almost b*gger all effect on anything due to the thousand times more amount of cr@pspewed out by China and US. imo..
Hey Mr Pussy Cat - well someone has to stand up against all the brain washed liberal lefties (most of them students I think) on BM. No wonder the UK is in such a bad state.
Bit scary when I read your statement and thought about it though - FACT!!
