It seems in the last 2 or 3 weeks Puddletown woods has been closed to mtbs!! aperently the police? are patroling on bikes to fine the odd kid or granparent they can catch!  It could be due to Kids having a bit of a party in the woods and leaaving a load of rubbish behind?  Grrrrr thats the one place I can loose 2 or 3 hours on a friday after work gone! (its on my way home) I bet they will have stingers at the bottom of the big d/hill sections! lol.

Where?

Well if its privately owned land and people are building north shore, jumps etc for free ride they (the owners) are obviously going to get pissed off, especially if there are clashes with walkers and other users of the forest

It always amuses me that a normal, middle aged, well to do person, can become a blaspheming dervish just because a mountain biker has the audacity to ride on the same day and at the same location. This obviously gives him the right to use abusive language and violence towards the offender. Puddletown has it's far share of OAP's (Old Arrogant Pensioners).

What we have here...is a failure to communicate

there's so many trails in the woods that the old bill would have difficulty patrolling it unless they use there shiney little helicopter to buzz overhead all day.

they'd be better off stopping the doging and drug abuse that goes on after dark. 

they wont be catching me unless they use a Dog!
