I have the Lake District and South Yorkshire Dales guides. They use the Harveys Maps which do have contour lines on them and they have an elevation profile at the start of the guide. Have they stopped doing this for this particular guide?

Hi there.

We've done our own mapping for this guide - similar stuff to our two Peak guides. The elevation profile is still there at the start of each route, plus plenty of other info.

Mike's on the money re: OS maps though - watch out for them in our next guide...
