Hobo, looks like i am having the oposite problem from you with my Sirius!
Got some proper fish scales and weighed my track pump on some kitchen scales which i know are accurate then weighed them on the fish scales and they were accurate. so up went my 3 bikes:
Bike Calculated/claimed weight: Weighed tonight at:
Sirius 27.7lbs 26.5lbs
SS 24.2lbs 24lbs
Carerra Gryphon no idea 24lbs
Spec of the Sirius (large frame)
RS Rev U-Turn Air
DT Onyx hubs on WTB laserdisc XC rims
Juicy 7s
Schwalbe Nobby Ncs
LX HT2 chainset
xt rear mech
WTB/FSA finishing kit
The only thing bought to be light was the FSA KForce carbon riser bars, he rest was functional and cheap. Might try the Superstar Cabon post and a light saddle to lose another 1/2lb.
Not sure why your medium frame is coming out so heavy in comparison but it's still no World Cup DH bike in weight is it?
