 So how will Button compare to Hamilton, I suspect that Hamilton will be #1, and even though McLaren won't say so, the car will be developed to suit his driving style. With Alonso at Ferrari I don't think they will be able to piss about letting Button and Hamilton fight each other, and one (button) will have to be wing man for the other (Hamilton)

 Bizarrely the decision by Mercedes management goes against the wishes of the board. Shareholders aren't happy at money being thrown at the projects. Eins Extra.

 Its great, if mercedes perform there will be tongue in cheek ww2 comments flying around the commentary box, they just won't be able to help themselves.

 I just spent today at a race track being taught to drive Holden Commodores very quick round a track. No racing as such, but was against the clock and we felt the pressure. Spinning off the track at 120+ made me realise how skillful many of the racing drivers are and just how easy they make it look.

I agree. As much as I admire Button's driving style and I do think he is a worthy champ, if the car's not to his liking he struggles. Mclaren will no doubt desgin their car around Hamilton's style which is much more aggressive, let's not forget either that the team is focused on Lewis.
Be nice if I was wrong like.

Oh yeah I'm not knocking what he did this year, but Button was part of the best team. I was very impressed with his driving in the penultimate race.

I saw Schumi beat Fettle in the race of champions thing in China on Eurosport. All German podiums would seem to be the objective now.
