15 months. Now how many 15-year-old girls are mothers and how many of the over 18 fathers are in jail? None right? Clear discrimination against a homosexual woman. Clear injustice. If she'd had that relationship in a civilised country she'd have lost her job at worst.
In France you'll be pleased to hear you can have sex with 15-year-olds without committing any offence though it may be considered unprofessional in the case of a teacher and student. In Spain you may be delighted to learn it's 13! Though my personal preference would demand at least 10 years older.
I thought she got off lightly too, if it had been a male teacher, the jail term would be triple that if not more. Plus the media and every self righteous chav within traveling distance would have been baying for his blood.
I think it's way the legal system and the general perceived thought in the eyes of a male driven society that unless it's penetrative it doesn't count as intercourse.
