Mine probably get used longer than they should. But even though I now live a lo g way south I'm a tight northerner at heart and beleive I'm doing my bit for the environment but using it for as ling as possible.
I started using a shaving brush & shaving soap about 18 months ago which I would say has prelonged the life of my razor.
Like others, I tend to finally replace the blade when the lube strip has worn dry.
