Does anyone have a January 2004 issue of Mountain Bike Rider lurking in an attic I could buy? There was a small article about me and my mates in it. I wanted to show my kids about my old 'glory' days. (it's a bit trickier on the burms with the kiddie trailer...). Thanks Liz

I should have it somewhere - I'll have a look later.

The glory days have gone in just 6 years, shame on you! Sell the kids and buy yourself a SC carbon blur, you know you want to.
Can't see it but it's around somewhere. If I find it I'll let you know.

Maybe worth phoning IPC, they may keep back issues?
Thanks Nick for good IPC suggestion- they sold out long ago, but I could try their forum maybe? Monkey Space- can you really get that much for a couple of kids...? Dear Nobby, my fingers and toes are crossed- I hope you can find the mag. or the kids'll never believe me. Thanks for looking.

Was it this article? 'All-Girl Action' about women's bikes? If so you can buy a digital copy for £1.95.

Nick always gioes out to help the more mature woman, and hes , on The WeakestLlink soon, swooning at Ann Robinson.

What can I say. Unless I find out Liz is a photographer, I'm all charm!
I believe her boyfreind is a photographer and rides a TI-29er. Nick as a Transport cooordinator and planner, i bet you make good connections, and are always on time,as if timetabled.
Yes it was, thanks Nick, that was really kind of you to search that out for me- much appreciated. (Still afer the real mag. if anyone's been up in the attic.) Sorry not a photographer : scientist, Blur XC and umm..very, very mature. Always (snigger...)
You're safe then, no problem with scientists, and proper sized wheels too. Definitely no reason to feel angered! Indeed MSP I do generally have a good idea of where I'm going and what I'm up to, sadly several of the other transport planners lack the ability to even make their way to the office without event! Helps to explain the dire straights our transport system is in!
