Well the snow's all gone and its back to muddy trails, but is anyone up for a night ride in the peak.
Haven't looked at the forecast, but how about wednesday?
Could start to work off the effects of all that xmas food & drink.

Hi Lloyd, can't make this Wednesday, but next Wednesday looks good. I still have a Christmas pudding that I'm prepared to drag around as an ironic gesture...

Return of the son of the peak night ride...

I can't make this wednesday but I'm on for next week. Where are we going?

How does Ladybower sound? Most of the stuff round Hayfield is kind of muddy right now, I guess the alternative would be to look at something a bit more White Peakish or back to the Castleton / Hope area.

Good,I should ok for next wednesday too.

Would be ok with Ladybower, or Castleton/Hope.

White Peak would be ok too, but I've not done too much riding there so can't suggest any specific route.

I guess Kevin'll be interested too?

Tomorrow (10th) sounds fine Lloyd. When & where?

How about Ladybower? Meet on the road up to Fairholmes - the last car park before you get to the visitors centre?

I should be able to make it for 6.45. How does that sound to everyone else?

It's good for me Shaun.

Yeah, why not. See you there.

Yeah, that sounds ok, I'll be there for time.

Should be a fullish moon too, if can break through those clouds that will be inevitable.

OK so to summarise its 6.45pm tonight last carpark before Fairholmes. i guess we will just have a troll round the Derwent & Howden Reservoirs.

& Oops i've only just remembered to put the batteries on charge, thankfully i've got the fastcharger.

cu there

Who's up for wednesday this week then, don't think Jon can make it.

Any suggestions for a rendez vous point? Kev, I'm sure you must have some suggestions involving some FP routes?

Would be handy if was near a pub, and an open one at that after finding the Ladybower and Strines Inn both closed.

Yep, I've been relieved of my lights until next weekend - deep sulk .. I' d have suggested Hayfield if I'd been able to get out - loads of pubs, lots of bridleways and loads of mud, though some of it might be frozen now

Guys, are you still up for a night ride tomorrow (wednesday). Weather prediction's fairly promising - should be some frozen trails.
How much run time have you got?

Can I suggest either we meet at the Fox House Inn (start off up Houndkirk Moor, back along Burbage, but if time allows could go down to Redmires and back by Stanage??) or
last carpark b4 Fairholmes as last week, and investigate some other trails

or any other suggestions??

& we need to agree a time.

Sorry everyone, can't make this week. A combination of late nights at work and a desire for beer.
Should be OK for next week though.
Cheers.

Stanedge or Burbage sounds good for me. As there's only two of us now - I'll ring you tonight to sort stuff out.

6.45pm Fox House pub car park.
