I might be out for a spin in the Peak this Sunday. Where and when are you thinking of meeting?

Change of plan for me. I won't be out for a while after all. Due to car crossing my path this morning I now have a load of wrecked equipment and a lot of bruises. Any tips on insurance claims?.....
Hope you're not too badly smacked up Steve, as for insurance forms for your bike, don't you ride a litespeed owl hollow and marzochi rac1 forks with full xtr?

Seriously, if you were knocked off and hurt ( even if only slightly @ the time) get yourself down hospital and checked out. Report the accident to the police as well. Then go and see the nice people @ cycleaid.co.uk and sue the twat. This might sound harse, but it needs to be done.

I got knocked my bike with 2 independant witnesses saying it was the stupid mummy vixen on the scholl run's fault, but CPS and police said it was fifty fifty fault and wouldn't bring a case against her.

Thanks to cycle aid got costs for bike, damaged clothing, helmet, taxi's to and from work for a couple of weeks until I could ride again, three months of physio, and damages to general pain and trauma etc etc.

Get well soon and look on the bright side, at least you're still here.

Bad news there Steve. Hope you're OK - looks like some good advice from Mick.

Well, if everones busy (will we get to see the new bike on wednesday night Lloyd?) maybe I'll have the peaks all to myself!

See Ya.

Shaun, trust you had good ride today. Weatherwise looks like yesterday was better, but had the not so happy privelage of spending it decorating.

Slight mix up with disc brake on new bike, so won't be debuting it on wed night instead it'll have to be the trusty rigid.

Tragedy - my lights have been, er, impounded for illustrative reasons so it looks like Wednesday night is out. Should have them back for next week though. Snivel, s'not fair etc, etc.

What's the new bike Lloyd, I'm so thick I've obviously missed all mention of it. An Intense Tracer I hope....
