Hi all, Iv'e just bought my 1st road bike in a long time, A Bob Griffin, I'm just interested to know if they are still going.(I obviously bought it 2nd hand). It certainly seems like a nice bike it's light & seems to have decent tackle on it,but must admit i've not been out on the roads yet as it's a bit icy(O.K. I'm too soft)

Hello,

I myself own and ride a Bob Griffin bike, i also know of bob Griffin himself, not a company as much.

He lives in cheltenham UK, owns a small bike shop and has been making bikes for 32 + years, 90% of his bikes were all custom made for people to ride. He used all the best bits of the time and if in good nick still wont need much to change just alot of love!

My bike is 33 years old in a few months and was a gift from a friend of my dads, who does not ride anymore i've had it 3 years now and not changed anything but the tyers and can keep up with my local cycling group doing so.

Any questions on The Griffin bikes E-mail me and i can see if i can help you

Regards

Mike.

Hi Bob here,

Mike's right, I am at Roylans now in cheltenham - sadly not building frames. If you do require transfers send me stamped address envelope to Roylans.

I've still a few left for genuine folks.

Keep wheeling,

Bob

hi,
i am currently overhauling a bike i rescued from a bush in a friends garden and am interested about its history... the only identifying mark was a aging sticker on the front saying griffin with a picture of said griffin underneath... the bike is a very nice, old dutch style ladies bike... almost puzzle piece shaped gusseting around most of the welds.

does this bike have anything to do with bob griffin or am i barking up the wrong tree? any help would be great!

thanks
