Jim/Alex,

Seems like Kevin beat me to it and replied to your questions. See you on the trails again lads.

Unfortunatly I live on a beef and arable farm in Herefordshire, lots of cases in county. I'm restricted to riding my small bit of single track, 6 metres long and a small jump. The wood I've built in is to muddy and wet to get any grip.

Anyway I've got GCSE's in June so it means less distractions and hopefully when they've finished, so will of the F&M, so lots of good rides(Afan Argoed, Forest of Dean and Long Mynd are on the list).

Pembre Forest is open for what it is worth, lots of dunes with trees on and then the possibility of a ride of up to seven miles along the beach back to the country park. If you do decide to go, park outside the Country Park and save a few quid. There is a huge wooden bird sculpture hidden in the depths of the forest, a lot of ponds where tracks used to run and some big sand hills. the ski centre does nice hot chocolate too, and a mean tobbogan ride.

On Sunday I was out and about with the family-Mother's day and all that- around Rhandirmwyn, sort of hoping something would be open. No such luck, so we had a leisurely ride up and down the valley.

It is really time for a decent ride or two to burn off the blubber. Captain Ahab is hunting me down, Yes I am Moby Dick, the Great White Whale.

I been doing loads of ridng, big mountains, cool trails, sacry DH's but then I'm in New Zealand and not blighty.Racing the toughest one day XC race in NZ this weekend as well. Suggest everyone get over here ASAP. The place rules and I've still got 2 months riding left!

Sorry if that's pissed you all off.

Not a patch on your riding Mike but I've just secured meself 11 acres on the Isle of Man. Should be able to cobble up some form of entertainment to keep me occupied for a short while.

All over to Julian's then.
Hope you've got plenty of accommodation available at the manor.

Potentially Pat. Once I've prepared the site, I'll move on to converting the barns and outbuildings into bunk houses, luxury apartments and bed sits asap.
Er, I promise
