I just spoke to Dafydd at Coed-y-Brenin. As well as the Red Bull, the Fun trail and the MBR Route are now open.

However!!! It isn't open on Good Friday, honest! I won't be there with my pals at all, so no point anyone else going and making it really busy....

That bit was a lie. It is open on Good Friday. But I want it all to myself.

Did you go..... Did you ride? or was it a figment of your imagination? I need to know. I'm desperate to return to the hallowed ground !

I`ve just got back from a day out at Coed,it was brilliant.
The trails mentioned are all open and will be staying open all through the week unless there are any new cases of F&M in the area.
The hallowed ground awaits you !!!

Yep, I went. It was goooodddd....

Will be going back very soon (ortp replacement since we've all got green passes for the weekend).

MBR has been modifed to include bits of the karrimor, and it's been that long since I rode, I was too knackered to do the red bull - those who managed it report that it was slightly changed.

Bonus news - dual course rebuilt, and you don't climb so far when setting out on the MBR as before, it goes into a nice teaser singletrack just after the first forest clearing.

I feel a dark cloud lifting now I know those gorgeous Welsh trails are open. For the next week however, I'll have to settle for the Mountains in Spain. Flying Tonight...Scorchio ! Sierra Nevada under my treads !
