Hi,

I am new to the London area and want to buy a bike (MTB or city). I am thinking of spending up to £300 but don't need anything fancy. Can anyone recommend any shops for range and service in central London?

Try Bikepark (www.bikepark.co.uk) they have shops in Covent Garden, Chelsea and Parsons Green. You could get a new city bike or even a basic mountain bike for just over £300.
