i know i have sourced some one on here a Ka roof rack but i have just baught a Ka myself and am wondeering where the roof rack mount's are? there is a rubber strip running down the gutter but this apears to be stuck in with some black adhesive are the mounting points under this if so how do you remove them (ther rubber strips) without damage??
the owners book shows very little detail only max weights and the risk of altering the C,O,G,

I think they clamp on with rubber feet on the roof and an arm that is tightened under the door frame.

Select your roof rack

Sell the car, get a decent one which you can fit a rack to...

what bike Kato? i have seen a upright cycle roof rack that clamps onto your crank arm and the wheels fits into a V shaped channel somewhere i'll keep my eyes pealed

BTW i have just rung the dealer im getting the car from and asked about the ford roof racks the ford roof rack requires "drilling holes in the roof" on a new car im not doing that and aparently they are "happy to do it, BUT WE WONT WARENTY YOU IF IT LEAKS"
Im going to ring paddy hopkirks tech services tomorow

Oh and a towbar is out of the question ford havent gained approval for a towbar

this one needs the front wheel removing i know Rock Shox dont like them but in not sure about the other big players unless you have a sily bolt throught set up...
