 Did it then.

Aye, a couple of weeks back now but those pics have just appeared tonight, sneaky fekkers. The photographer must have been well hidden, normally I'd have done a goofy face, oh hang on..... I knocked a minute off my 10km run time (it was a 10km run - 40km bike - 5km run) and I was taking it steady and I felt crap. I have a 10km race in a couple of weeks so hopefully I'll feel good on the day and smash it. Total time 02:26:00 I was fairly pleased with the times, expected to come in nearer the three hour mark, also my transitions weren't exactly slick.

My transformation to the darkside is complete. I have fitted tri-bars (big thanks to Mr Bump) to the road bike and purchased a lycra Sugoi all-in-one triathlon suit.

I'm doing my second triathlon tomorrow! Off road though, so doesn't really belong in this thread. I can't run for shit sadly, the swim and the bike are alright!

 Good luck!

I wonder if he's sunk yet?
One can but hope
I wonder if he's sunk yet? I don't think Nick could sink could he? Not enough body mass to break the surface of the water?
Is he still doing it, must be an Ironman.............?
An Ironman? It was a double Ironman, would you expect any less of me!? Not a wild success, I accidentally breathed in a substantial quantity of water, which promptly led to my throwing up in the water! Seemed to lack energy after that and took a while to get going on the bike, and I can't run for shit. Still... 51st out of 154, so not a total embarrassment. Bit of running over winter and I should be fine, think my 10k run time was about an hour
Good effort though, it's a tough sport!
