For my sins, I chose to live on the Isle of Wight a few months back, and I've been finding fellow MTB-ers somewhat thin on the ground.

Anyone else actually live on the Isle of Wight and do any regular rides?

All I can find on t'interweb is the remains of an MTB club called "Extremists" whose website last saw any signs of life in 2005.

Thanks in advance if you can offer any pointers...

I think MBR did a route round the Isle of Wight in their route ride book that you can get from W H Smith. Might be worth a sneaky browse rather than buying the whole magazine just for one route.

I live in Ryde, have done for a couple of years now. Not found anyone who does regular off road rides tho....There are a couple of road clubs on the Island but thats about it.
