Hi All,

I've used 1.8 folding trailblasters for ages.  Perfect for my style of riding etc.  Problem is i cant find any shop that has any!  anyone know of any?

I expect they are discontinued so the question is?  What else is there as an alternative??

- I want low weight (TB are about 400g)

-quick tyre for mainly dry use.  (although i really liked the TB's in the wet)

-good alrounder.  not a semislick

thats about it. cheers

If they suit your style of riding you must ride on sandpaper to get any kind of grip.  Worst tyre i have ever experienced (Closely followed by conti verts).

If you want something fast rolling and grippy i would go for a 1.9 small block 8.

I might have a barely used Trailblaster or 2 int'garage.

The last place I saw them was Halfrauds if that's any use.

Or maybe a 1.8 Nobby Nic - I'm guessing you're not riding anywhere rocky and they're quick as, clear fast and grip fine on dry to soft stuff.

Agree with david gray, Racing Ralphs for weeny weight but still offering some decent traction.
