Map it in MM (or tracklogs, anquet, fugawi etc), export as a .gpx & upload it - piece of cake.

If you use a garmin & the MotionBased web application that will also convert routes to .gpx files.

If you use the hybrid version, you can generally spot most well-used bridleways and footpaths - not that you'd use those, obviously

It's not ideal and it would be better to do the clicky thing on an OS map, but that's where we are at the moment. I've mapped some bridleway routes and it's not too bad, they're generally visible from the air. But watch this space...
If anyone is having trouble with gps file formats, gpsbabel is a freeware program that converts between pretty much all known formats.

My 2004 memory map doesnt have an option to save as GPX file
I think you can export the overlay from mm2004 and select gpx as the file type. if not use gpsbabel.

Has the route share feature been tested enough on the red sock troopers, to be now released onto the more tech savvy mountain bikers?
