It's looking likely that I will be in the Lakes from the 30th Aug - 7th Sept. I plan on taking the bikes and will be with the Missus, can anyone recommend some good camp sites. Also I may treat her to a couple of nights B&B so suggestions on those would be appreciated too, thanks.

Also some must do rides, a couple of scenic easyish rides for her and obviously extreme gnarlyness (sp?) for myself

The Brathay Lodge in Ambleside is a really nice little B&B.

Coniston hall campsite is Ok if the weather is OK, lots of good riding. We had a superb week in a cottage from the coppermines company. It was in Torver and was half of the old railway station, close to 2 pubs . Not really posh but comfy. It was £290 ish in school holidays so could be cheaper outside.

They have some nice properties in the area.

Head to Buttermere, there are some nice easy and scenic rides also Gnarly rides it has some excellent B+B's and a good campsite

Bonus is its quiet for the Lakes.
