saw a film a few years back of a guy cycling Patagonia. Sposored by National Geographic. He did the rounds doing talks and showing the film. Tahts the type of sponsorship required.
One thing I got from that was to take the simplest, strongest, steel bike that can be welded up and repaired wherever you are.
What intersets do you have? eg, I`m just back from Slovenia and the history of the area I was in is amazing. I am not much of a history buff/fan but it is amazing what some countries have gone through over the years. Politicians say they learn from historical events, makes you wonder when you learn whats gone and is going on in the world!!
