got a week up in the north east. Can anyone give me some advise on some good areas to ride?

Hamsterley, NY Moors, NY Dales, North Pennines, Cheviots.

I'm going to be in the Durham/Sunderland area. So Hamsterly was definitely in the frame. I didn't want to drive too far, So north Yorks  is out.

Ziggy try www.singletrackworld.com 's forum loads from the NE on there.

But the best one for you would be www.uk-mtb.com but it looks like it's been re built so the forum is down.

Just ask who's riding in the area and ask to join in...... They don't bite
