I'm luck enough to be going off for 11days to mauritius next year, and have the oppurtunity to hire MTB's whilst i'm out there. I' saying on the South coat of the island. Anyone been there? Got any ideas of any good rides?

To be honest, the riding is very poor over there. There are very few trails of any type over any of the big peaks, the Piton, Le Pouce, Lagrave and the like

To be honest, I'd just sail, snorkel, dive, wakeboard and beer it up!

South coast? The Shandrani, perhaps? If so, good surf and kite action, but a bit noisy from the airport. The North West coast is where it's at, really.....
