Anyone got any tips on how to change the spring in the revs? I have a firm spring coming in the post, but I cant find anything in the forks instruction manual about how swap it.  I'm presuming it goes in the Uturn side?

Any pointers appreciated!

i did it,and didnt muck it up and i'm a disaster with anything that doesnt involve a sledge hammer and a 2" tolerance.

just dont forget a magnet thingy to take out and replace the ball bearings if youve got compression damping on the shock,i got a cheapy telescopic screwdriver for that.

How did you find the spring change? I am 82k - so at the upper limit of the firm spring apparently - but I ride with a medium spring. Is it worrth changing in your opinion?

i change from medium to soft,11st(bit of a lightweight fairy rider),but i use some compression damping to stiffen it up a bit and feels alot better for my style of riding

Cripes, the standard spring is supposed to be for 10-11 stone! Then again, I suppose I am even worse, I weigh ~13 stone and use a spring intended for 10-11 stone. Hmm. it's about £25 for a new spring though as far as I can tell...

I'm 13.5st, 14st riding weight, and I went back from a firm to a medium spring. Then I got a set of Fox 36 Van R. Now that's plush, but better damped. Mmmmm Foxxxxx.

Easy to change, if bought from tftuned they send fitting instructions anyway.

I'm 13.5 and was mostly ok with the std, but found it a bit lurchy on lower speed tech stuff and a bit soggy when trying to push bike through corners, so changed to firm spring and bike now feels ace, still feel nice and plush but with so much more control and more nimble, recommended.

I must admit I sometimes find myself adding a bit of compression damping to try and stiffen the fork a little, probably a symptom of having too-weak a spring.

Yeah that's what I found myself doing on steep tech stuff.

123kg!  but ok as long as you are about 2.5 meters tall...

OT - did anyone see the 1/2 ton teenager on TV recently, when they removed about 30kg of fat, before they could reduce his stomach?  As my 10 year old said, "thats' me Dad, I weigh 30kg"!

Meh. BMI is useless for anyone that does any kind of physical activity anyway. I wouldn't worry Don.
