Me too!

But sorry girls, the men talk about more interesting things.

There are several girls in our mtb group of 30 or so.........and we're not big on jam recipes and knitting patterns....

Perhaps we could tell some girl jokes and wind up the guys letching at the window....

Q. Why do blokes have legs?

A. So their brains don't drag on the floor

Nice to know you're here too Deb

And I agree the men talk about more ineresting things!

Here's a few jokes to keep it going -

Man: Haven't I seen you someplace before?
Woman: Yes, that's why I don't go there anymore.

Man: Is this seat empty?
Woman: Yes, and this one will be if you sit down.

Man: Your place or mine?
Woman: Both. You go to yours, and I'll go to mine.

Man: So, what do you do for a living?
Woman: I'm a female impersonator.

Man: Hey baby<a href="http://www.jokesaboutmen.net/men_joke_five.html#" target="undefined" id="KonaLink0"></a>, what's your sign?v Woman: Do not enter.

Man: How do you like your eggs in the morning?
Woman: Unfertilized.

Man: Your body is like a temple.
Woman: Sorry, there are no services today.

Man: I would go to the end of the world for you.
Woman: But would you stay there?

Man: If I could see you naked, I'd die happy.
Woman: If I saw you naked, I'd probably die laughing

the reason there are no girls on here is because no-one has told them - there were a load of Shecycles girlies. Anyway, I've spread the word a bit, so hopefully we'll all congregate somewhat on here in various threads - lets hope we can keep the knobheads comments at bay....

Wrap-over skirt over tights for winter - except I seem to be living in waterproof trousers at the moment

Did you see my link on the other thread?

Hello there, is there anyone that can give me any advice on indoor training? Not really what I want to do but I've moved right next door to where I used to have to comute to and am getting no cycling in. I was getting up super early to get out before my man went to work (we have a four year old which limits free time for cycling) but it's just too icy early in the morning or late at night, and after a few slams decided to by an indoor trainer.

I had been cycling a 15 mile round trip, five days a week, so was getting pretty fit and had begun to find it pretty easy. Since moving in September I've hardly been out at all.

Naturally indoor cycling is not going to give me the rush of freedom and achievement that cycling outdoors did before, and cycling to go nowhere is just bloody weird. I wondered if anyone has any tips? At the moment I'm only lasting 20 minutes and then I'm bored stiff. I'm guessing I should be cycling for at least 40 minutes to get myself fit again?

I'm also not sure how to work up resistance, it's got a cluch thing on it that I can't work out how to use. Or do I just use my gears?

Appreciate any advice on this, I'm in Scotland at the moment and it could be icy up here till bloody April.

Sally, if you pop over to here I'm sure someone will help you.

I used to have a multi-gym, and the only way to alleviate total boredom was to watch the tv programmes I'd recorded.  Me, indoor cycling?  Sorry, no chance!

I'm off for some excercise now, just remembered we left the car some miles away last night. Got to go find it.

Thanks that Jen I'll take a look. Indoor cycling? It's my only option at the moment, I've not got it set up in the living room as that's just too weird, but we've got a draughty old conservatory, which with the doors open is nice and cold... but nothing like the coastal rides I had been taking to commute

thanks again
