Anyone got any good rides around the bournemouth / purbeck areas? Thinking of getting to bournemouth by train, then down to sandbaks to cross on the ferry. Or possibly if better ride driving to corfe castle, and ride from there.

Anyone got any printable maps etc?

Sandbacks ferry, then the obvious bridleways up to Old Harry Rocks and along the ridge to Corfe Castle. Tea and cakes. Then back. There's a few variations. Dorset Rough Riders are the local club, they do a lot of stuff down there.

I adore Purbeck, but the off road riding is limited.......unless you break the law!

Some of the coastal routes were made for mountain bikes, but sadly it's off limits!

So if its off limits, how do you know it is there?

Thanks for that guys. Look firward to the beginning of April for my next day off!! Cheers

I believe there to be an adequacy of off-road even sticking to bridleways.

Cheers mike. What about at canford heath. Haven't been there for a few years now. Been off the bike for a while. Met a mate i haven't seen for about 4 years, and found he's into mtb's to, so trying to find good rides for us to take part in.
