My experience of crank bros is that they make blinged up unreliable crap, there is no way I would splash £800 on a set of wheels that are unlikely to last more than a month. plus they are just fuggly. Standard 32 spoke wheelsets have a quite pleasing engineering elegance to them that is clearly missing from those.
I agree with the Cosmic primate to an extent. I think that CBros have some reallly good ideas that work well and some nice looking designs, it's just that longevity of their products is generally pretty poor.
