so far from all the enquiries and pre-entries we only have had one lady come forward wanting to race.

So do I stop worrying about ladies prizes all are you all hiding and going to surprise me on the day?

There just aren't very many, ever!

Look through race results on Timelaps, you'll find a male category with 80 has 5 women!

Altura Patterson Training is an all-woman team based in Macclesfield, and we'd have come to the first round except it clashed with the first round of the Midlands XC, and the second round clashed with the Bedford 2-day (road race).  Hopefully we'll get to the event on this coming weekend.  Can we get entry on the day?

By the way, it's women (or girls for U18s), not ladies

yes you can enter on the day, registration opens at 08:30, bring a completed form to save time.

its a shame our illiterate team had the trophies engraved with "woman's" then. You just can't get the staff these days.

see you on the start-line

NW XC Racing - you want to make it clearer on your site where your races actually take place.

Lee Quarry, think it is quite clear on the site, at least I found it was.

"Lee Quarry" doesn't appear on the first four pages of the Brownback site.

I know where they race, I assume NW XC Racing wants others to know too.

Pardon me for trying to help.

I agree with TimmyA - took me a while to find the location on their website.
