Demo'd one of them recently and after trying virtually every short travel bike out there it is most definitely th worst of the lot.
Pedal feedback from the rear end when it compresses is horrendous and in some cases even forced me to stop pedalling in the granny up a steep rocky hill. Rear shock was an in-house model which just blew through the mid range no matter what I did to the shock pressure.
Better choices in my own opinion for the short travel ranges are the Anthem, Pronghorn or Cannondale Rush. They were the best performing rear ends and just worked without fuss or annoying me with little foibles.
