Has anyone got any good routes around coclaenog forest in north wales.

Depends on what you call "good"

There is plenty of riding in the area, some non technical long distance training routes & some including full on DH courses 

Have a look at wwwridetheclwyds.com, and look for a link to ride hireathog, or something similar, thats the denbigh moors, also the merida bike race is back in Rhuthin in september.
