If you want that to be racy, i'd invest in some lighter wheels next. and maybe some faster rolling tyres

Edit: your brake levers seem very close to your grips as well

Yeah, wheels and tyres are next.

Was thinking Fulcrum Red Metal Zeros and Some Nobby Nics? So damn expensive though better get saving....

Fulcrums aren't that great, hugely overpriced compared to similar wheels.

I'd look at a custom set, pro2 on mavic 717, dt4.2 or a stans rim.

I'm not convinced by the Nobby Nics, i found them too washy as a front tyre, and too slow as a rear tyre, i'm a huge fan of having a continental mountain king up front, and a speed king on the rear. fast rolling and grippy, though many would disagree.

I'm really starting to like Maxxis Cross Marks compared to my NN's

Is that an issue? they seem/feel in the right place, do you think the levers and shifters should be moved inwards?

You only need one or two fingers to operate the brakes so move them so that those fingers are pulling the end of the lever.

I mainly ride Scottish trail Centres Like Laggan Wolftrax, Glentress & Carron Valley.

Planning on tackling Mount Keen this summer as its the only Munro (Mountian over 300ft) that you can actually ride up (and down).
