anyone got any shimano MT90's ? They let water in the top in heavy rain, anyone got any idea's on how to stop this? I could do with keeping my boots dry on multiday rides.

some sort of neoprene gaiter would work well I'm thinking ???

I have had a pair for 3 or 4 years. So thats quite a few rainy rides.  They are IMHO the bee's knees!

It takes really heavy rain to have water come in the top. I accept this as normal for any type of footwear. You need a hole in the top to get your feet in.

however...... you may be onto something there with this 'gator's scheme.

If you look around I think you can get a "shorty" gaiter for walking/trail running that would do the job.
