Well if you head west of the river its a good route up to Cissbury ring and loop it round to Chanctonbury ring and back.If you head East its up to Devils Dyke and beyond,depends how far you want to go,its a there and back route.All nice tracks lots of ups and downs.You will see lots of cheeky singletrack along the way.Great views and a few Sothern twats

Will try the Cissbury Chanctonbury loop looks good on the map, which way round is best looks like its a gentler climb anti clockwise and then some steep descents coming back down the Monarchs way into Bramber.
I would guess the majority there will be Northerners.
Thats the hidden beauty of this area.You can have 10 or more rides and not see a single other rider.When you do everyone seems quite shocked and are always very friendly.
