Hi i was wondering if anyone can help I recenty bought a bike a vittesse sprint 21 road bike i just encounter a problem where my gear's won't engage the  big ring  my front chain ring is a triple  set  i thought i could  fix this after reading some of the how 2's on here but think i have made it worse i now can't get the  shifter's to shift into  1st gear and the front derailer won't engage any  chain ring  what could be the problem  could some one please help  me i've posted some  photo's of my bike  just to give an impression of the type of bike.

hi thank's I have read the aricle and it has inproved my gear change although wont change to all the gears still and my shifter wont  shift to 1 with the number showing on the gear's but thank's for your help might take it down to my local LBS  but am not sure of any good one near me in Barking in london does anyone know of any Good LBS near Barking?
